Make it happen

So why start a side hustle?

Have you ever been at work one day and the question comes to you? When am I ever going to be able to live financially free? When will it be my time in the sun? When will I see the shore?

You start to calculate and look at your future ahead of you and it's just nowhere in sight in the position your in right now. There is no way in hell you'll make it out as you are right now. And that's when it hits you. Some changes definitely need to be made.

But the world is your oyster! You may not be exactly where you want to be right now but that's all about to change because you're ready to make some exciting and positive changes in your life.

Your future is bright and you can't wait to see all the amazing things that are waiting for you right around the corner.

You don't have to start big. Just start small. You do need to start to be on your way to achieve the greatness you were meant to achieve though.

That was me. My pay could barely take me to work. Couldn't buy groceries, couldn't pay the bills, so what is the point of it I asked myself. I couldn't even think about a cheap vacation.

That's when I quit and never went back to work since then.

So why start a side hustle? I mean why not? I mean it's an extra source of income right?
  • 50% of millenials have a side hustle meanwhile 70% of GenZ's have a side hustle.
  • Almost 50% of people with a side hustle do it because they want to, not to supplement their income, but you know some extra money won't hurt.
  • At the same time, one-third run a side hustle because of financial constraints.
  • Even 24% of baby boomers report they have a side hustle.
Plenty side hustlers eventually plan to be their own boss sometime in the future, and leave their full-time jobs and pursue their side gigs, which has worked out for a lot of us so far.

Taking that leap of faith can be intimidating, but the truth is that you can never be too scared to pursue your dreams.

As long as you're willing to put in the work necessary to achieve your goals, you'll find that the reward is always worth it.

It's unfortunate that many workers today find themselves struggling to make ends meet, but with determination and perseverance, it's possible to break free from the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.

Isn't it exciting to know that having a side hustle can help you cover your expenses and may even bring in more income than your full-time job?

Imagine being able to pursue your dream life and tell your boss to suck it, (haha, just kidding) all thanks to your side hustle.

Sounds like a joyous and fulfilling way to live, right?

Did you know that having a side hustle can actually bring you a lot of joy and peace of mind?

Not only does it give you extra cash, but it also makes you less likely to dip into your retirement savings or use your credit cards.

With a side hustle, you can enjoy the benefits of having extra money coming in without worrying about needing to get a loan. How awesome is that?

Just imagine how much more secure you would feel if you had a solid financial cushion to fall back on in case of an emergency or job loss.

With so many options available, there's bound to be something that suits your interests and skills.

Why not give it a try and see how much you can earn?

I started with surveys and microtasking, then started freelancing.

I can't help but think if I started sooner when I wanted to, and didn't let fear hold me back, things would be different now even though I am nowhere near where I was a year ago.

You want more flexibility

Whether it's to spend time with your family, stop living paycheck to paycheck with a 9 to 5 workday, travel when you want to or you just want financial freedom, having a side hustle is essential.

Keep in mind that it will likely take some time before you can make enough income so you can leave your job, but if you never start, you'll never know and you'll miss the chance of financial freedom you've been longing for.

You have a skill, talent or hobby

Don't let regret consume you because you never took the chance.

Remember, if you don't start, someone else will.

So, take charge of your dreams and turn them into a reality. You've got this!

You can even be on vacation traveling and doing these side hustles.

That's all it takes.

Take a leap and better the situation you are in right now.

There is something out there for everyone. Better your current situation.

No matter your interests or how much education you have, the only skill you require is discipline and motivation. Have faith in you.

To sum it up, the hard part is taking the leap to get started. That was so hard for me.Every day I would come up with reasons and excuses to put it off until the next day.

I started out taking surveys and micro tasking, until I started freelancing. I started looking for side hustles as my 9 to 5 was so bad, I could not even pay my bills or buy food to eat.

I refused to give up on my search for websites like these, even though it was challenging to find them while living in the Caribbean.

But my persistence paid off, and I finally discovered the resources I was looking for.

I started wondering, why the hell am I working for if I still don't have any money? And under such circumstances?

I haven't been back to work since then. My side hustles were the ones that helped me turn over a new leaf.

I do wish I had started sooner, but it is what it is right now.

I always look back and say if I had started sooner I would be so much closer to where I want to be.

But still on my way getting there and I'm okay now, not having to worry too much financially.

I eventually took the leap. You shouldn't be that person though, start now!!

For now, it could just be to cover gas, groceries, coffee, and put towards the bills until it turns into paying for trips, buying a car and a house, and turning into passive income.

The sky is the limit!

So many have started and begun to diversify their income and pay of debts etc.

There is plenty of room online for new hustlers.

Why not get in on it and make some money too?

Why not use your free time to better yourself?
